morgan inlays
Historically guitars have had a lot of ornamentation. When David apprenticed with Jean Larrivée, he was surrounded by inlays. When David started his own company in 1985 he began working with close friend and artist, Patrick Pothier, on his own inlays. They started simple with only a few small mother of pearl orchids in the peghead. From there they created a small pearl horse. It has always been the art combined with the craft that has inspired David to tell unique stories through his immaculate inlays on Morgan Guitars.

David's passion is in the process. His after work walk in the woods with his shop dog Stoney is his time to think. It is there that he often comes up with a concept that he will develop further with an artist or a designer.
